The Dragonborn are a true Draconic race, descending from the Elder Dragons, who once ruled the entire continent but are now thought to be extinct.

Dragonborn age fairly fast, being able to walk hours after they've hatched. They grow to the size of a 10-year old Human child by the age of 3 and mature into adulthood by 15. They live to be around 80 years old.
